"I am keen to expand the repertoire of opportunities to improve mental health available within evidence-based medicine. Working with COMPASS is not only exciting and inspiring, but also an opportunity to contribute to a cause I care about. "

Molly Hickey

Research Associate

Molly’s projects at COMPASS have involved assembling and presenting evidence regarding the abuse potential of psilocybin for the controlled substance staff at the FDA, and investigating the therapeutic potential of psilocybin via preclinical models. Molly’s previous preclinical research projects have involved exploring spontaneous currents at GABAa receptors and the uniformity of active zones within the drosophila neuromuscular junction using electrophysiology and imaging tools.
