“You can’t really imagine a time when you won’t feel anxious”
I’ve struggled with anxiety since I was a teenager. I’ve tried lots of different treatments over the years, but it’s always persisted. It’s hard seeing how it can disrupt every aspect of your life: your personal life, your work life, your friendships and relationships. When you’ve struggled for so long, it’s hard to see a light at the end of the tunnel. You can’t really imagine a time when you won’t feel anxious. Even though I have lots of friends with similar challenges, you still worry about bothering people with your issues. But you have to remember that there are always people around and you can always reach out, and I’m hopeful that things will continue to get better.
