Experienced biotech executive and finance leader
Mary-Rose joined Compass as the company’s second finance team employee in May 2020. She has led the creation and operation of Compass’s financial operations, treasury, tax, financial planning & analysis, and external reporting and was instrumental in the company’s IPO, follow-on public equity and debt offerings and private placement financing in August 2023. Prior to Compass, Mary-Rose worked in public accounting with Ernst and Young and was Head of Financial Reporting for Veolia UK & Ireland. She earned her LLB in Law at Queen’s University, Belfast, and her ACA qualification from Chartered Accountants, Ireland.
